Introducing Jenny Holbrook & Lodestar Training |
|
She began eventing at 12 and started dressage lessons with Trenna Atkins, an “S” dressage judge for the USDF. Jenny was, by far, the youngest student in the barn and the youngest student Trenna accepted into her program at that time. Around that same time, Jenny also began taking lessons with Lisa Boyer and taking clinics with Major Jeremy Beale, a member of the British Equestrian team in the 1960’s.
Over the last 10 years, Jenny has done clinics with several world-renowned 3-day eventers including Bruce Davidson, German National Federation Licensed trainer Gerd Zuther and Henrik Johansen, of Positive Riding. She has had many years of experience re-schooling difficult horses and training young horses to competition level. She most recently re-schooled a former dressage horse as an eventer and qualified him for 2007 Area VII year-end championships at the Novice level.
She has competed in Dressage through second level, training level eventing and in the Jumper ring as well. Jenny believes that dressage training is an important foundation for any horse…whether headed to the show ring or to the trails. Jenny attended the University of Washington and graduated in 2006 with a degree in American History. It is an honor to have her with us at Rosebud River Ranch. If you’re interested in boarding with us and taking lessons with Jenny or if you prefer to haul in and set up a lesson schedule, please contact Jenny directly @ 425 356 1960. ![]() ![]() |
